Cleaning Mirror Guards Empty Cleaning Mirror Guards

Afternoon All

I have the white mirror guards on my Broadway and very useful they have been to, certainly saved me a few quid on a couple of occasions ! My only issue with them is I can't get them clean, they started life as a shiny white but are now rather dull, mottled and shabby looking. Has anyone found a useful cleaning tip to restore them?

Thanks

When some idiot clobbered our offside mirror (his was knocked off completely, (dash cam evidence ensured he was caught despite not stopping and subsequently sacked for his reckless driving) ours survived due to mirror guards, but it left a huge black abrasive mark that did polish off completely with a mild compound paste used by the caravan repair company. Similar to this would be 'Silky' available from any M/H caravan sales shop. We use it regularly to remove any persistent dirt/marks etc.

Rub gently with Tesco cream cleaner on a piece of damp kitchen towel. It removed the black clobber marks and scuffs from ours.
