Re: newby
Hi there,
Welcome from a warm and sunny Marbella in Spain!
We used to run "Tramp the Gramps" (guided walks in the Grampian Mountains) back in the late 1980's - but the old knees are so shot now that I can only look at them - or puff up them on the bike!
Enjoy the Forum. There's a lot of sense, and nonsense, to be found with this lot!
Best regards,

Re: newby
thanks everybody for your welcome.
The avatar pic is indeed of me (a lot younger and fitter then) the original was black and white and someone did the effect on computer. i tend to do low level rambles now and the "van" gets me to various places to keep the variety.

Hi Hillwalker,
Welcome to the Forum. We lived in Colwyn Bay, and I worked from Llanrwst for 12 years. Loved North Wales, and the photo of you on the Cantilever Rock, brought back great memories of happy days climbing on the Glyders.
Happy Vanning
Andy
