My Wife and I have been in the Caravan Club for 48 years but this is our first motorhome so it will be quite a change.
We have recently purchased a 2006 Peugeot 2.8 Inca and are looking forwards to touring places not so easily reached with the caravan such as single track roads in Scotland etc:
Our longest trip with the caravan since retiring was across to Norway and up to the Artic Acircle across to Sweden and back down to Gothenberg, we remarked at the time it would have been easier with a motorhome so who knows about a rerun with the Inca !
I was a ABS developement engineer and spent many winters in Northern Sweden testing so it was good to return when everywhere was not covered in several feet of snow and ice and see just how much green grass and many blue lakes are there to be enjoyed.
