I,m thinking of swapping my old Topaz for a 2004/6 Nuevo ES Peugoet 2 ltr
Anything to look out for ?
Is it underpowered and what about fuel consumption?
Cheer in advance

I've got a 2006 ES with the 2.2 engine, fuel consumption 30mpg, why go for the 2 litre?

I used to have a Nuevo ES 05 reg with the 2 litre engine. To be honest it was a tad underpowered when accelerating or uphill, but it wasn't an issue really and anyway you don't buy a MH for speed do you? Consumption consistently 29/31. Never failed  to start...almost always first time. Lovely compact van. When we sold it the dealer went over it with a fine tooth comb.....no sign of damp. We did have a slow drip (and I mean slow) from the fresh water tank, but to put it right would have meant dropping the tank so decided not to do it. It was recommended to us when we first started motorhoming. Never regretted it. Hope this helps. Bob

I have the 04 EK version with the 2 litre engine. Never felt it underpowered really. Maybe this engine is more suited to the sleeker EK, the ES having a bigger frontal area.

I have my first motorhome, a 2006 ES. Admittedly it has the 2.2 engine but have never had a power problem and it has a great (usable) layout. I get about 30mpg but have only done short runs.
