Introducing Mr Timothy Birch Empty Introducing Mr Timothy Birch

Post by timbobirch Mon Jul 15, 2013 8:18 pm

I've just got an auto reminder to introduce myself so I best do so.  I am middle aged, 5ft 6" and bald.  There that's enough of me! I own an AutoSleeper Duetto 1996 which I bought 6 years ago.  It has been fully re-upholstered and not a bad job either.  I have replaced both side cills, but now the wheel arches are going rusty.  Also - the hot air heater has never worked and the gas has gone on the three way fridge.  The engine bay has had a fire in it (!) and the two battery trays are like tea bags.  There is also a split in the engine bay in between support struts.  The engine starts every time and feels like it will go until the rapture, although I have been tempted to get a turbo professionally fitted.  I need to replace the soundproofing in the engine bay.

I am about to do said repairs followed by a complete respray.  Any advice gratefully received!

Thanks very much for the kind advice already given.
