Hi all
Just found this site searching google for info about our Palermo. Me and my partner Graham started with a Talbot Merlin on a B reg plate, went away every weekend, and absolutely loved it. Upgraded nearly 2 years ago to a Palermo on a 52 plate. Still go away most weekends, but as Graham's health is not as good as it was, have spent most of this year at home. I love driving our Big Baby and we are off to Chichester for 10 days next Friday, find driving the motorhome easier than driving our car! Can't wait to get back behind the wheel. Love the fixed bed, but so does our rescued greyhound called Katy. If anyone can help with the height of the Palermo I would love to hear from you.
Thanks
Manda

We're all happy to help each other on here, but don't expect to get your bottom wiped!
If you can't work it out try downloading "convert" http://joshmadison.com/convert-for-windows/

Hi Frank
Found a conversion site and changed them from meters to feet and inches 2.87 = 9.4 feet and 6.86 = 22.5 feet. I still duck when going under bridges, can't get used to all that height above me. Am going to put the height on my dash so have to hand all the time.
I'm new to all this forum stuff, have you got a spare loo roll ? as I need to get some for the motorhome.
Thanks for the warm welcome

Hi Dutto
Thanks for the welcome, Not been much better here in Hastings, East Sussex.
Not looking forward to taking Katy out for a walk shortly. Very windy and trying to rain.
We are right on the sea front, and Katy loves to walk on the pebble beach, so no shelter from the weather what so ever.
Off to watch ENG v NZ on Sky Sports score at the moment 183/5 trailing by 282, till Katy wants her walk.

3ft 3ins is one metre so to be on the safe side and allow for tele aerial call it 9ft 6ins for overhead barriers etc (or look for 3mtrs easier)

Welcome from a sunny (at the moment) Lancashire. I know what you mean about driving the camper being better than the car, and we have much smaller Topaz. I love to drive it, being high up is so much better, and you get to peep over hedges much more easily.

Years ago when promoting the change to decimilisation the government sponsored a number of 'catchy' jingles. Anyone remember the following,
'A litre of water's. pint and three quarters,
' a meter equals three foot three, it's longer than a yard you see.

Thinks there was one about kilos and pounds, can't remember that one but the meters one comes in very handy.
