Finally joined the group

Hi Folks,
Retired, no kids, just one rescued Great Dane. Ex-Army. First model was a Sherpa Trooper in the early 70s while in Germany and Cyprus, then a CI Transit Travelhome for Northern Ireland in the late 70s. Lived in 13 countries (Austria to Zimbabwe) over the next few decades.... Retired, sold our ex-cafe on an Exmoor cliff-top and bought a twin-wheel gin-palace caravan. Wandered the country for 8 months looking for somewhere new to live. Ended up back in the West Country; in rural Cornwall - an hour from where we lived for 25 years - and bought a VW T4 Sherbourne (auto, lpg) but just too big for the lanes and villages so swopped to a Trooper auto.
