Wow, bit of a shock forking out for the van tax today, getting on for a quid a day! Glad I have a zero rated car to offset it a bit.

I find it very difficult to understand the economic mentality of some MH owners, the obligatory costs of keeping and running a MH is extremely high but when it comes down to small amounts, like donations to a fantastic web site, which cater especially for them, give great advice when asked for and are a welcoming place for all, sometimes just to have a chat, we even have the forum for the grumpy old men team, they quibble, WHY.

Won't be zero for much longer! But... still a fair bit cheaper.

I've taken to SORNing my van for unused months in the middle of the year now, as well as in winter. And yes, I know - it would be better to use it regularly, but in psychological terms it's hard to justify spending £30 a month just to take it out once or twice...

Twenty quid a year I believe from next April.
From zero that's quite a hike in percentage terms...
