SR Metatronic Empty SR Metatronic

Post by AndyW Sat Jul 15, 2023 7:57 pm

I have a 2019 Kingham with a SR Metatronic Satelite Dish factory fitted from new and it has a fault, it will only go up a couple of inches and it stops the control box buzzes and the light flashes 3 times this apparently means maximum effort exceeded. I've tried all the local motor home dealers they won't touch Sat dishes they've given local techs they won't touch it I've rung Aphium they don't do them anymore and gave me a number and name but he never answers his phone or replies to the answer phone

Has anyone else had a fault with this system and if so how have you got it working again?

Hopefully someone on forum can help you, there is a lot of knowledge amongst a friendly bunch. As you joined today a first post to introduce yourself under new members would be a good start.

Have you looked online (using the correct company name SR Mecatronic) for the main UK importer? Reading between the lines, I think that may be Towtal, who IIRC have a good reputation.

In the short term I would be trying to lubricate the raising/directioning mechanism with a light lubricant, just to see if things have corroded up in the recent rain.

Have you tried lubricating the mechanism?

SR Metatronic Empty Towtal

Yes Towtal should be able to help, I've just spoken to them.

01782 330897.

I have a similar dish and want to make sure I've got someone out there who can support it if it goes wrong.
