New Girl Empty New Girl

Post by Jean Dobbie Wed Jun 07, 2023 2:54 pm

Hi I'm Jean, I have just bought another AS Executive, I love AS's. I live in Dereham Norfolk. I have a husband and dog, Basil. He is a Cocker Spaniel, the dog, not my husband. Husband is a runner, cyclist etc. I just love going away in my van. However, I got up this morning with all good intentions, cleaning the waste and fresh water tanks. But I can't get the pump (internal) to work. Water is pouring out from underneath the van! Even if I have the pump on external, internal or both. I would really appreciate some advice. Thank you. I hope I meet some of you on our travels 😁

Hi Jean - welcome to the forum.  Might be a silly question but have you checked the dump valve.

Hi Dave, thanks for replying, do you know where I might look for the dump valve? Is it the valve for filling and draining the Truma Ultrastore water? Sorry to be a bother.

Thank you everyone. I've sorted it out, I think because I knew you were on the 'other end of the line' so to speak, it gave me the confidence to trust my judgement and try the options. What kind people.

Glad to hear you got sorted - I had some 'technical' issues for the last couple of days an couldn't log on.
