Needing new tyres?
If so try ATS Euromaster and use the code TYREFIT, I just ordered 4 new Vanco fourseasons 121 rated for the worcester and saved £80 over blackcircles and Asda fitted price.
Over my local garage the saving was £150!

Re: Needing new tyres?
Just had a bit of a conflict with Blackcircles, wanted tyres for the car, specified make etc and insisted they be no more than 6 months old.
Was told by them this was impossible and that they considered that any new tyre up to 5 years old is considered by them to be "new"
I argued the case that they were totally wrong, they disagreed so told them to
off!!
Made the same case to a local garage (Nicholson's Stalham), they totally agreed and got me tyres less than 6 months old, same make and spec and were cheaper than Blackcircles too, no fuss, no bother....

When I bought mine from the local Mr Tyres depot I told them that if older than 6 months I would not have them fitted, they ordered them in and rang me to say that they were all 6 weeks old, I checked when I went for fitting and all was correct

Re: Needing new tyres?
That's what I tell my usual tyres place too, and they, now at least, take it seriously. The reason they didn't get the job mentioned above was they could only get 3 of the ones I wanted at the max life I'd accept, hence the other, local, garage could and did and got the job.
Main reason for all this for me is that we, the consumer, have no control over how the tyres are stored, they could be in a pile 50 high for all we know, are they kept in the dark and cool, are they standing upright or laying flat, if flat, as they probably will be then the side walls will be taking the weight of the others above as they are not and cant be inflated.
I could go on!

Re: Needing new tyres?
I will find out in the morning but if the tyres offered tomorrow are not bang up to date I am not accepting them. Current ones are dated 2011 on a 2012 van out of interest and I know the chassis came straight from the factory as I had to wait for a special order. 31000 on the clock and they still have loads of tread so pretty impressive from Continental!
