Flyscreen
Hi all, just looked through all the old fly screen posts but couldn’t find my answer:
I’m quite happy with my fly screen but it’s getting a bit old..
My vehicle is a 2017 Corinium, can someone tell me what type of hab door I have and the matching fly screen for it??

Re: Flyscreen
The Auto-Sleepers parts department at Willersey told me that my 2019 Nuevo's habitation door is a Mettalarte RAL9006 . If you contact them they should be able to confirm this and perhaps help you source a new fly screen if they don't supply it themselves. You can also contact Mettalarte if the fly screen comes from them.

Thanks Caraman, I hadn’t considered that idea..however I did look at contacting them about something else a few days ago..
I couldn’t find the telephone number..
Is there a better way of contacting them?

Re: Flyscreen
I used their parts enquiry system for which you have to register but its not difficult. I then clicked 'order spare parts' which allows an enquiry to be made. I received a response the same working day.

Re: Flyscreen
Cheers Paul, I knew someone would have the info, they appear to have stopped displaying the phone # on the official contact page..though I accept I could be me not looking in the right place..
I see that they run a twitter feed! But I messaged them on twitter months ago in connection with my habitation documents…
I checked yesterday and they still hadn’t answered that question either so I’m not sure that they even monitor twitter?

Re: Flyscreen
Is the mesh held in by a rubber round profile strip, if so you can just buy the fiberglass coated mesh,

Re: Flyscreen
Time to update this thread! I decided to order a new fly screen..unfortunately Autosleeper parts only supply the actual screen, not the frame complete.
Anyway; be that as it may, I decided to go ahead and remove the frame..ahem…not an easy job!
With brute force..one has to pull the top away from the door opening, unfortunately it breaks the clips but this is to be expected..
New clips are on order.
The real issue came when I tried to remove the bottom and then remove the whole frame.
Apparently Autosleeper fit the bottom threshold plate with very sticky butyl glue…the only way to remove the threshold plate is to use a big lever bar to lift the plate (after removing the 2 screws) and break the seal.
It’s very hard to break and took some force to lift one end then lift the other end until you can get a Stanley or something under to cut the stuff through.
Once that was done, the whole frame lifted out easily.
Cleaned of the butyl gum and laid it out to strip It down..
I’ve managed to take it apart by removing the torx screws etc and it essentially just pulls apart..allowing the fabric to slide out.
I’ve used different colours of permanent marker to ensure it goes back together correctly.
I’ll update the thread further when I get the curtain delivered and fitted..for the moment a photo will tell you how it looks.
