WIND NOISE ON BOURTON
Hi does anyone else get wind noise, through the roof light in the lounge on a A/S Bourton.
I have looked at it and it does not appear to have any seals fitted, should it have rubber seals to stop the wind whistling through,
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi - had similar problem on my 2021 Neuvo which has a Heki 2 rooflight. ( has a silver bar that you push to open) I fitted the following seals which solved the problem

To meet ventilation regulations these rooflights do not have a seal around the whole aperture but often have seal only half way round. There is nothing to stop the owner putting a complete seal but that's how they have to be built to conform with the regulations.

Re: WIND NOISE ON BOURTON
There is a section on wind noise and Hek lights if one does a Search
Different seals are used in the Heki's so be careful. The one with a lip is for the wind up one.
frederic
as 2008 Topaz etc
for Heki3

Re: WIND NOISE ON BOURTON
Did mine years ago. Make sure you get a flocked seal. It does not stick to the rooflight. HUGE difference in wind noise.

Thank you to everyone who replied, I phoned A/S and they told me the same as Paul, rubber seals are not fitted for ventilation regulation. But you can buy the seals and fit them yourself, they are not allowed to fit them.
Not knowing about the seals at the time I fitted draught excluder to the skylight, this made a considerable difference to the wind noise. I will now get the right rubber seals and do the job properly.
