Sky lights
Just come away for a few days as a trial in our recently acquired Nuevo(8 days),having trouble with the roof light, tried to open for the first time and winding the handle allowed a movement of about 2” i then noticed that the cable was ‘looping’ and would not allow further travel to open further, the cable however expanded with every turn of the handle. Can anyone please recommend any remedial action,We are on a site so minimum facilities.Thank you !

Re: Sky lights
I'm pretty sure there is a YouTube video on that. Problem with those us the seal tends to stick so you should always push gently on the 'glass' while you wind handle making sure seal is released before winding any more.

Re: Sky lights
I'd apply a bit of silicone spray lube to the seals - once resolved.

Re: Sky lights
I wish you well with resolving your skylight, we have the same problem and have attempted to fix it and had others look at it and all decided it was beyond repair and would have to be completely replaced at 700 quid per unit plus fitting of 500 quid. Not that any stocks exist anyway. It is booked in to be completely replaced with a more reliable push up version tomorrow. The wind up mechanism while clever is slow and prone to going faulty..

Re: Sky lights
We had a similar problem with our Malvern Autosleeper and you can get the full mechanism from Autosleeper parts for around £90.00 but if your motorhome is still under warranty, your supplier can easily fix it.
