Which way up? Empty Which way up?

Post by blueeyes Tue Sep 06, 2022 8:37 pm

Just in the process of buying a Broadway EB and noticed on some review videos that they make up the beds with the long cushions face down.
In all our other vans we used to make up the beds with the cushions face up.
Is there any good reason to have one particular face up or down?

We had a Broadway EB and had the cushions face down. This made the sleeping surface nice and flat without ridges. Naturally the bed was firmer as a consequence but we had very comfortable mattress toppers put together on top of the flat seat cushions and never had any problems.

I until the last time out always turned the mattress over when making it into two single beds.

However on my last trip I made the single bed with them the as they are in the day time, putting the back rest piece next to the window and pulled the seating cushion forward and the raised area at the front.

I then lay my Duverlay on the top.

Conclusion 7 nights great sleeping.

Whichever makes bed making easier, quicker and comfortable!
