Re: Plug socket
You may need to post a photo or say if it’s 230v or 12v. However, try some accessory shops like this one to see if you can match them.

Re: Plug socket
I can't tell you any more I'm afraid as AS have used many different types over the years. If you contact AS parts dept with your build number, they'll know what was fitted.

Re: Plug socket
As Tinwheeler says, AS changed very often so it's just a guess for us, without photos. At around that time, they were using products from Clipsall, but that really is a guess. Typically they tended to use just standard domestic-size fittings - if that's true of yours then any standard 240V socket should fit, though I don't think it's so common for single-outlet sockets to be fitted with USB ports (most seem to be doubles).

Re: Plug socket
I would suggest that a 230v socket with USB outlets is not ideal as the USB outlets will only work whilst on an EHU
I suggest something like this [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] would be more useful but obviously more difficult to install.

Re: Plug socket
Agreed - and not too difficult to install.
On our Trooper, I replaced two silver&black Clipsall units (one mains socket, one cigar lighter) with a 3-way CBE/C-line frame, so that I could fit instead one mains socket, one twin USB sockets (powered from the leisure battery) and one twin voltmeter. The three-way frame fitted easily into the space, though I did need to make up a brushed Perspex back panel to cover the top and bottom of the original opening.

Re: Plug socket
This is the latest of the various USB chargers I've used in the van:

It can also be connected to a two pin 12v socket via an adaptor with no wiring mods needed.

Found this supplier: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
They have a good range of Berker fittings (no connection, merely found them online).

Re: Plug socket
Perhaps it's worth pointing out that Clipsal is an Australian company and is now owned by Schneider. There have certainly been supply problems as they have moved their production facilities around in Australia and elsewhere. Their most commonly used products in motorhomes and caravans seems to have been 12V outlets and plugs, the ones with flat blades for the plug. Newer builds no longer seem to come with a 12V socket (or if it is the 'cigarette lighter' type) as the USB outlet seems to have swept all before it.
