Avatar?

Hi there,

OK, I admit I have only watched it with one eye as I replied to some of the threads, but what the heck is the film "Avatar" about?

I think John Wayne made films with the same story line about two dozen times. i.e. same American accents, same "men in white hats" (actually "blue guys with tails") beating same "authority figures"!

How did this heap of rhubarb take anything at the box-office?

Actually, when they start doing re-makes of films made by real actors like Henry Fonda and James Stewart it shows that we have reached an all time low!

Maybe the Olympics will be good viewing after all!

Tried to watch the same crock of the proverbial. Failed. But then again, my own 'Avatar' might give a hint to a personal standpoint..........
