Mercedes engine

Can anyone tell me which model of Mercedes Sprinter engine is used for the current (2018 onwards) Auto Sleepers. The only printed information I can find refers to 163bhp Euro 6 engine. The Mercedes Operating Instructions booklet is not very helpful because it lists all engine models. I have also tried inserting the VIN number on the various websites but none can identify it, or they tell me it's a 2002 model!!

Should be a 316 CDI @ 163 bhp. Engine type OM651

For anyone who is interested, my local Mercedes Van dealer has confirmed my Mercedes model number is OM651. If you are ordering parts or need to know the correct engine oil, etc., etc., you will need this model number.

All 4 cylinder Sprinter engines are OM651 designation, with differing states of tune. Hence the 316CDI designation.

Thank you Peter. I have seen 316CDI quoted, but when I want to order a part, it is OM651, OM642 or OM654, etc., which I am asked for. I hadn't a clue which model it was and could not find it listed.
