Overcast and drizzle this morning, hardly any breeze blowing so don't expect much change.

Clear blue skies first thing but clouding over quickly so rain will be here soon. Just about time to wash the car and vacuum the van out before rain arrives. No chance of getting on the roof scraping moss, just too slippery .

It’s a lot brighter here but the wind is a bit chilly. To my surprise there’s a bumblebee mooching around our front garden. It must have its flying jacket on because I thought they didn’t like the cold.

Dry and overcast, we also had a bumblebee hovering round our back door yesterday when the sun was shining. Think it might be back in hiding today.

It was a bit chilly this morning on our walk but it’s warmed up a bit by lunch time. I left the workshop door open but the bumblebee that was in the front garden invited its mate to come in and buzz round the lights. Hopefully by the time I have had my lunch it will have taken its self out of the workshop.

Been a pretty good day here today, a few showers which made the roof too slippery for me to work on but tomorrow threatens to be dry so back up I go! Put up about a dozen bird boxes last year some in the wooded area, some near the house, how many takers? None at all, very disappointing. Lots of geese and ducks flying overhead which is great and a couple of swans today, makes a change from helicopters:up!:

Strange day yesterday, the sun came out and it warmed up enough to make it a great drying day. During the course of the afternoon the wind got up and our wheelies bins (and those of our neighbours) were blown over. Sunny start today and quite mild. Don't think I'll see much of it  shrugg

Very pretty sunset last night, today clear blue skies and 10 degrees. Virtually no wind so a good day for scraping moss again. Have used the van very little this year, hopefully will get a trip away in the next few weeks before we fly west again end of May. Greta would not be impressed but needs must. Weather - Page 6 2708

It’s a lovely warm start to the day here. I havnt got out yet and it seems a shame to disturb muttly because he is lying on the sitting room floor snoring with the sun on him.
We are getting managements gardening projects sorted so she can use the shed for potting etc. She bought  a bench thing from Aldi and a plastic mini green house that was being sold off at the garden centre. It will keep her busy leaving me to my workshop time between trips.

Yes, but cooler here but still overcast and dry. Still no allowed to do anything strenuous (as if I would anyway snigger ) so taking it easy.

If they builders are like their namesakes GH, I would double check their measurements to ensure correct sizes  rolleyes

Keep resting up Tony and get better soon.

Dry and a little overcast down here today, 10 degrees though so pretty mild. One more session of scraping the roof today, a bit of cementing then the job is done. Hog Castle is on two levels like a bungalow attached to a house, don't mind doing the lower roof but family have banned me from the top one!! hugegrins
Spencer is doing that!

Overcast and a bit chilly this morning. There’s wind from the Sahara bring sand with it forecast and that jogged a memory for me. When I was stationed in Germany the SKC cinema showed adverts for the new VW Scirocco, a warm wind from the Sahara. For the time it was quite a flashy advert and probably sold a lot of VW,s with NAAFI finance as well.
I bought a Datsun 160SSS with finance through the Volks Bank instead.
Muttly has had a bad night of chucking up so we won’t be walking far. He was eating grass yesterday and drinking out of the bird bath. walkies

Our son arrived to collect a parcel as the rain started, he looked like a drowned rat. I didn’t have the heart to let him walk home so I gave him a lift. There were some good puddles on route. A poor cyclist was forced to ride through the deep water because a car overtaking him forced him over. It wouldn’t have held up the motorist for long if he had let the cyclist go round the puddle.
