Does anyone know if there are stickers available for the current Mercedes Sprinter headlamps, to mask them for driving on right in Europe? Or do I just use white tape!?

There are three possibilities.

1. You don't need stickers because the lamp design has a flat beam pattern which does not need to change
2. You don't need stickers because there is a physical lever on each lamp to switch them from the normal pattern to a less powerful flat beam pattern, which is more or less the same effect as a sticker
3. You do need stickers, in which case you can either mess about with stickers every time, and probably not know where to put them, or you can buy a pair of headlamp protectors. They come complete with stickers, and a marking to indicate where they go. The idea being that you can just clip them on when crossing the channel.

I don't know which of those will apply to a Mercedes, however.

I will be interested to hear from other owners with the Mercedes coachbuilt conversions. What did they do when travelling across the  channel?

Have you asked the question of your local MB dealer?

From the 2021 MB Sprinter manual pg 84:-

"Notes on changing the lights when driving
abroad

Vehicles with halogen or static LED head‐
lamps: Changing the headlamps is not neces‐
sary. The legal requirements will also be fulfilled
in countries with left and right-hand traffic"

Welcome to the forum Graham. It's always best to take advice from folks who know what their subject is (as this query illustrates  winks ) Peter can always be relied upon to come up with the goods.

As an aside, the older Sprinters needed stickers, but you are in the modern world! smile!

With the shorter days, I have done quite a bit of driving in the dark. The dipped lights are higher on the left than on the right. so obviously set up for driving on left hand side. I have also reviewed and confirmed this on the dash cam footage. To avoid (further) annoying the French, I will fit stickers. Those I have purchased list the 2018 - Sprinter, with the position to fit them.
