Re: Electric hook up settings
The sole purpose of the rocker switch is to direct a charging current to either the vehicle battery or the habitation battery. The centre position feeds neither battery. It is only functional when on EHU (electric hook up)

As Keith says. So when on hook up you leave it switched to Hab as that is the battery the van draws 12 volt power from.

Re: Electric hook up settings
If you find that when it's time to leave a site the engine won't start (flat battery for whatever reason) you could switch it to VEH and it will charge engine battery if you have a couple of hours to wait.

Not sure if our Rienza is the same but the rocker switch in the middle position the habitation electrics are turned off.
In the habitation position the habitation battery is charged on hook up or vehicle battery in the other position . I fitted a battery master so on hook up I leave the switch in the habitation position.

So did I Dave.
The Battery Master is the definitive "fit and forget" gadget, and well worth having if only for peace of mind.

Thanks to everyone for you replies. Could not find the answer in my instruction book, and everyone i spoke to had a different switch. Having just taken the seat out to have my battery tested I did not want to get it wrong again.
