Bourton cooker hood Empty Bourton cooker hood

Just had a look at a new Bourton, very impressive apart from the cooker hood which protrudes in front of the over cupboards. A perfect recipe for head banging !!! Our Broadway EB has a smaller hood which fits better below the cupboards and is not a hazard. Has anybody fitted the smaller model or just removed the whole thing ? Seems a small point I know but banging your head come become tiresome !

I agree, banged my head a few times, too noisy and only recirculates the steam. So ours resides in the loft ready to refitted when we sell the van. Just open the rear roof vent, works just as good.

Hello Len, Welcome to the forum from a hot sunny Stirling.   Was up your neck of the woods a couple of weeks ago...Love that part of the country.   Sorry can't help with your cooker hood but I would agree with your comments. smile!

We have a Bourton and I am quite tall but haven't hit my head, however I dislike the automatic fan which lasts so long and makes a noise. Can this be switched off?
