Mild clear night,no wind ,some cloud cover from the south east, nice walk out with Tag,watched some of the wee trawlers heading out earlier followed by dozens of Gulls.

Much cooler but dry so far and a fair breeze blowing. Shopping to do (got to eat and that other thing  hugegrins). Need to make the "list" of things we need to replace in the van for our next venture, whilst the "things" are fresh in my memory (because in a few days they won't be  think_smiley_46)

Damp start but sun breaking through now, still loads of caravans and motorhomes on the move. Looks like a bit of hedge cutting might be possible today and then down the tip with the trailer on Monday we are only allowed on even days as our car reg ends in 8.
That's it then for jobs before cleaning the van over the next week or so and away we go, covid willing.
Mac Cheese sound good if it is what I think it is!
Have a great day all up!

Lovely day here at Shuttleworth with the occasional chilly breeze. Unlike last year at this time when it was too misty and damp for flying.
The flying was as good as ever. Muttly wasn’t too pleased about the anti aircraft guns but retreating inside made him feel better. We were warned about the extra pyrotechnics but it was quite loud and not far from us.
Hopefully the weather will hold until we get to Suffolk tomorrow.

McIntosh meals proudly made in Forfar at Strathmore foods factory, across the road from Station Park, home of Forfar Athletic FC.

So yes the old tongue twister score East Fife 5, Forfar 4 is still possible.

Almost a repeat of yesterday,  grey sky and dry. The forecast rain never arrived but the wind direction has moved to a north westerly so I guess it will get colder still. Ho hum.

Not all bad news, children (and their teachers biggrin ) go back to school this week allthumbz

Grey and overcast here in Suffolk. The breeze seems chilly but not too bad when you’re walking. I walked muttly to Shingle Street this morning.

What a day!
A debacle of a visit to hospital early this morning for a scan I didn't know I needed, get there wait nearly two hours and they tell me they are not doing it due to an error between the booking office and the unit, a long story! Get back home to go to the tip and Lady G's car is parked in front of the trailer, jump in flat battery. Jump start points are under the bonnet which is at the opposite end of the garage to the door so can't jump it off of my car. OK so start cleaning the van ready to go away. A couple of nights ago her Ladyship said "I can smell horrible burning, someone has a smelly bonfire", Get on the roof and it is covered in black tar like spots where the bonfire must have had rubber or something on it, took two hours to get the stuff off!
On the plus side it has been dry all day and quite warm plus I haven't had time to get bored, think I will start again tomorrow
Enjoy the evening all wave

Too much excitement for one day Groundhog, seems like a beer or wine is well deserved since the weather is holding.

Been a nice day in Angus with sunshine and pleasant temperature. Bit tired as we had two power cuts overnight meaning house alarms, including ours kept going off. Had a fun day watching SSEN guys dig up the verge across the road from us after they eventually found where they wanted to dig. SWMBO tells me they tried unsuccessfully to find where to dig for over an hour at 3am this morning. Thankfully power cane back on before dawn

Still dry, still dull and still  shrugg  Not much change in the forecast as we appear to be in the vortex of the latest weather system.

Good luck with that GH, hope all is well up!

No real change here, we did get a few breaks in the clouds yesterday and a bit of sunshine but it made little difference to the temperature. We're going out for lunch with the SIL and to hunt for Victoria Plums which we've been told are in the shops.  shrugg

Cheers guys! The irony is I have never had any heart problems in my life but carry a rare gene that effects people mainly under 40. The DVLA started all this when I applied for my C1 licence so now I have to get an annual heart check! I did explain that I had manged 73 years without a problem but that didn't seem to matter scratch head Curiously they did me a favour and it is no bad thing to have a check every year anyway, they wouldn't give the results but the person doing the test did say "If I thought there was a problem I wouldn't let you go home" so I take that as good news hugegrins

Never seen so many birds on the feeders as when we got back, must be the time of year or it was just party time.

Stay safe

Good luck GH. I have a prescription review every year including lots of blood tests for my arthritis. Considering all the things people have at a younger age it’s nice to know some one is keeping an eye on me.
A warmer day here at Bawdsey Ferry with a nice breeze off the river. It’s supposed to be hot this weekend so we might see Cromer in better weather than last Septembers storm.
