Nuevo 2004
Hi
We are viewing a 2004 Nuevo at the weekend and wondered whether you lovely forum folk could help with things we should look for or be aware of?
Mileage is around 50k, 2 owners and good mot history.
We would also be interested in what price we should expect to pay (private sale)
Also trying to find an online manual for this version but struggling
Thanks in advance

Nuevo 2004
My wife and I own a Nuevo Ek 2010. When buying a motorhome irrespective of age, always check for sign of damp. However, this could be difficult if it is a private sale. If when entering the motorhome there is a pleasant smell (perhaps they have used a spray prior to your arrival ) then that is normally a sign that they are covering up the smell of dampness. In addition I would ask to see a full service history, date of last MOT and evidence of any habitation checks.

Re: Nuevo 2004
We owned a 2006 Nuevo, so same model as a 2004. We had the ES with the overcab bed/storage. Only problems we had were one damp patch immediately behind the passenger seat corresponding to the seam on the outside which dealer sorted and the electric element on the fridge failed later in ownership. Otherwise problem free. Good luck.

You could always try & get a mobile fitter to do a damp test on the van.
Trade these vans average around £22k
Think you can get an online manual in the members section on here.
Good luck.

We have a nuevo es 2006, the only problem we have had is when the habitation door lock couldn't be repaired or replaced because no longer being produced. One hinge on freezer compartment of fridge has just broken but that looks repairable.
