we generally park up with the hab door (and awning) facing the sunshine...the downside is that the fridge/freezer is on the same side  .
this Dometic model has been pretty good for cooling in high temps, especially on gas.

Thanks for the update. In recent discussions it has been concluded that perhaps the modern Fridges, are more efficient and don't need a Fan adding. Maybe we should be reconsidering with the temperatures we are experiencing.
Most fridges are designed to operate in one of 4 classes

SN (Subnormal) suitable for use under ambient temperature range of 10 °C ~ 32 °C (50 °F ~ 90 °F)

N (Normal) suitable for use under ambient temperature range of 16 °C ~ 32 °C (61 °F ~ 90 °F)

ST (Subtropical) suitable for use under ambient temperature range of 18 °C ~ 38 °C (64 °F ~ 100 °F)

T (Tropical) suitable for use under ambient temperature range of 18 °C ~ 43 °C (64 °F ~ 109 °F)
Ours is classed as SN which is typical for most of Europe.
It’s only when temperature exceed the limits for your class that it can’t cool properly,
If you bought a Class ST fridge, it would cool brilliantly over the last couple if days, but must if the year when it’s under 18deg C , it wouldn’t work very well.
