I'll raise you a collection of five fairly recent Brakspear ale bottles, a large collection of Victorian/Edwardian bottles and about 20 Matchbox Models of Yesteryear steam wagons with original boxes.

Sharp intake of breath.

I'll see you for about 200 vinyl LP's in original covers, an Amiga computer keyboard, 20 board games, 30 jigsaw, a bowsaw, a Dyson Ballbarrow (with puncture), and a plastic mini Oscar figurine.

I'll fold    hugegrins   I was trying to counter with  my drill selection and got to 24 !  From a 60 year old hand drill through 14 mains drills from an old black and decker to a new Hilti sds breaker and 9 battery drills from 9.6v B and D professional to 18v Dewalt /ELu/ Milwaukee / Makita to a mighty  24v Bosch   ...oh  make that 25 , a Power devil that was bought for the battery! I would post a picture but would probably take 2 days to locate them all!  Sad or what or an understanding Mrs?
I bow to your LP collection, son ' borrowed ' all mine when he discovered vinyl....

Talking of vinyl, when we moved here 11 years ago there were two full LP cases in the loft. I've had several looks through and they're mostly '80's twaddle. We've got enough with the Cliff Richard albums and singles the elder of my sisters left behind when she emigrated to Vancouver in '74. Then there's my dad's Glenn Miller albums, my mum's classical stuff, the in laws big band swing and our own stuff from the '60's and '70's. Who can resist a mono Sgt Peppers.

Ha! I have 2 sledge hammers and a few lump hammers, plus a stone splitting hammer, but they're too heavy for my hammer cupboard in the workshop, so are consigned to the shed!
By the way, can anyone here do the sledge hammer challenge? A grizzled old blacksmith I worked with used to have this passing out test for us apprentices who did our 3 months stint with him;
Hold the sledge hammer at arms length vertically by the end of the shaft, hammer end up, then, just by bending your wrist, lower the hammer head slowly to your nose and back upright.
Don't blame me if you're in A&E tonight...
Al.

I think I'll fold as well when it comes to vinyl.. Last count I only had about 40, but with no means of playing them.
However I do have a large valve powered Phillips reel to reel tape recorder complete with a dozen 5 inch four track tapes... Full of songs from Slim Whitman to Benny Hill.. All recorded by my mother in the 1960's...

Currently listening to the RAF Squadronaires Glenn Miller tribute album, fabulous. All via my Galaxy A5 phone into the Canton DM55 soundbox under the TV. Courtesy of Amazon Music Prime. Where did all this complication come from? I blame the change from 78 to 45's.

We have a strict rule, if anything has been in the loft for a year or more you simply don't need it
Still have a workshop full of "stuff" and more tools than I use though!!

Ian will feel at home next year. I've heard that Trigano have decreed that for the 2021MY the A/S colour scheme will be mid green with yellow lettering.

I use to know a Lorry/coach mechanic who said he had a full set of metric and imperial tools ? One pound hammer and One Kilo hammer. Also remember he didn't have a full set of fingers.

I'll raise you over a dozen portable radios... My wife says why do I need so many?? I have to admit, before I cleared out the cupboards I thought I had 3 or 4.

I bought a lovely looking Pure Evoke DAB radio for our Eriba caravan about 5 years ago. It had a brown leather look finish, not unlike the classic Roberts. As a radio it's fine but I'm very disappointed with the finish. The brown leather was actually just an extremely thin layer on top of a pale softish material and quickly snagged and rubbed whilst stored leaving nicks and flaps where the pale under material showed through. It just wasn't up to the job. Maybe perched on a kitchen shelf it would be ok, but not suitable for a touring caravan. Whether a real Roberts would have fared any better, I couldn't say.

The two Roberts radios at the back I picked up for a fiver each at separate charity shops in Macclesfield (the Cheshire set have far too much money!), they're superb quality, the black Gemini model on the left especially so. I love the pause/rewind live radio function on DAB.

The Lawnmower Museum at Southport might take it.
Sad I know, but I visited there last year. - it's near the Caravan and Motorhome Club Site.
They will definitely take it off you if your a "Celebrity"  hugegrins

I still use my dad's old Black and Decker drill from time to time, it's marked 1956 and has the original rubber covered plug and flex.

I can't match Kaspian's 24 drills, I only have 8 or 9. I've recently dug out my dad's old Wolf Safetymaster from the 1960's.
However as I've said, this thread has got me going through drawers and cupboards to see just what I do have. Something to keep me occupied during this lockdown.
Here's my hoard of binoculars, monoculars and telescopes, again, I thought I had 3 or 4...

Al I'm in mourning !   I have had a 4.5 inch  angle grinder for 40 years . Today it started jumping around in my hands and screeched to a halt. Rear bearing is toast. It was a B and D with switch underneath at finger tips ie a straight on /off paddle switch not a lock on switch like most nowadays  so could  be started/ stopped with ease. I have others lying around  but none have this feature. Once I have dried the tears I will have to strip it and see if repairable! I'm off to mourn....
