overlap strips in Autosleeper Broadway

Hi all my problem, we own an Autosleeper Broadway , the lapping strips on the inside body work are becoming unstuck, spoke with my local dealer his advice was as the strips are put on at factory using hot iron? just go over again with warm iron tried but no success . Any ideas as do not want to do permanent damage .Terry

Unfortunately it's not an unusual problem and a search of this site will throw up several posts on the subject with suggestions to how to remedy. We resorted to the heavy duty overlap wallpaper glue/paste.

They are strips used to cover joins on the wallcovering material and they regularly come unstuck

Ahh, thanks. 
Don’t think I have them in my PVC...unless they haven’t started peeling off just yet!!

We had these strips replaced by the dealer when our Broadway FB was about 2 years old. They started peeling off again soon afterwards.
We sold the van when it was 3 years old and I believe the new owner had them replaced again and again they started peeling off.
I don’t know what the solution is, but it seems the glue isn’t very sticky!
