Jane and I have had both an early talisman GL and an early Rambler in the past. Great vehicles but a bit big for us back then.
Our first van in the 80s was a rough old VW T28?? the large boxy one with the engine between the seats. moved on to Ducato coachbuilt. which had damage and a leak...then had the talisman. excellent but too good and big for our lifestyle. Had a Rambler on a ducato base. learnt all about rust and gearbox problems......
We have had a Bilbo Celeste for the last 12 years, Cracking vehicle, now selling and looking for a Symphony or similar.
I am very paractical and will have a go at most jobs.
not sure what people want to know about us.... Keen sailers, racing fireballs? tried motorcycle trials, now sailing a small yacht A Westerly Fulmar 32 foot.
Jane is getting into quilting and rows occasionaly.
