I have recently bought a 2002 Peugeot Boxer Symbol. I'm thinking of fitting reversing sensors on the Motor Home. Any comments would be appreciated. I have been quoted £180 by an auto electrician to do this. Thank you

Can't help with your question but welcome from N.E Wales.     handshake

You may get more responses if you start the question again in perhaps the van conversion section.

Hi. My Neuvo is called Kevin. If you see us around say hello. Post your question in the technical part or the van part of the forum. I had a camera fitted and think it was around that price

Hello and    asof_welcome2    rrom Leicestershire.

There is a site on eBay selling reversing sensors and the price includes fitting at your home.

Hi Kevin. I am also Kevin. I have a 2009 AS Symbol built on a Peugeot Boxer. It was built in the UK but imported into Auckland, New Zealand and currently resides in Tauranga, New Zealand. Ours has a reversing camera and reversing sensors which I assume were part of the original build. I have a very tight spot on our property where we park the vehicle and could not do so without the aid of both of these accessories.

Cheers

Particularly if you have a camera as well, consider fitting reversing sensors high up on the van.

Low branches are a worse hazard than ground level obstructions, and if you send the navigator out to watch you back, the chances are she (he?) won't look up.  shrugg

Mine doesn't, and it has been a very near thing on several occasions. Wish I had fitted my sensors along the top.
