It's May tomorrow . . . .
. . . . and it's three degrees Celsius here today.
If this is global warming I would rather be heading for an ice age!!

Glorious sunshine today in Edinburgh but only 10 degrees. When you had the hottest April day for 70 years last week at 29 degrees, we had 14 in Dumfries and Galloway.

Now only seven weeks to midsummer, thereafter the days get shorter again towards another nuclear winter? Don't want to spoil your expectations but just thought I'd mention it.

I got sunburn whilst walking in the Lake District during that

As for tomorrow being the start of May, looks like we’ll all need to dig out the sou’westers

Anyone North of the border who wants to stock up on bargain priced wine better get down to Lidl, Aldi or wherever today, as tomorrow it goes up to a minimum of £4.88 a bottle thanks to Scottish Government legislation.

A week ago Saturday Boaby, mind you we were down south in Bedford. Could have a barbie here today as long as you ate it indoors, glorious sunshine.

Bloody cold in Bedfordshire today, packed away my winter clothes a couple of weeks ago, had to get them out again.
Of to Ledbury this coming weekend, not in the MH but a lodge with the bro in law, fishing lake in front of the lodge, hot tub and BBQ and the weather is looking up.
Should be fun.

Agree it's lovely in Scotland. Haggis for lunch followed by ice cream near the shore of Loch Lomond.

Would that be Woodside Lodges and Camping Park by any chance?AndyRoyd wrote:Bloody cold in Bedfordshire today, packed away my winter clothes a couple of weeks ago, had to get them out again.

If so, two cracking cafe/tearooms very close to you.
The Nest, heading west towards Hereford on A438........ and a short distance on.......
Trumpet Tearooms, behind the traffic lights at the crossroads.
Enjoy, as they say,
