Re: Waste water tank reading full
I simply dropped the tank, replaced to drain pipe with a 50mm alternative and a more suitable drain valve.
Then added a top 25mm drain pipe with 2x 90 degree elbows and a down pipe.
Then ignore the gauge, the grey tank empties is seconds unlike the original system, if I forget to empty the grey tank (which I don’t) the tank will not back feed to the shower, it will drop out to the ground.
Auto Sleeper are good quality, BUT they are designed for people using campsites.
The same goes for the electrical system, it’s good but it’s not fit for off grid users.

Just to add, we love the van, currently touring Europe, 124 days on the road, not been on a site once, but the van as supplied is NOT designed for this.

Re: Waste water tank reading full
Hopefully we'll find out when you post an introduction but I must ask; why did you buy a motorhome that was not designed for the type of use you require?

Re: Waste water tank reading full
I bought a Motorhome (my first) based on my experience having rented one for a week.
That was back in 2003, after that we looked at options and the Auto Sleepr Burford-duo best matched our needs.
In 2019 we finally bought a Motorhome a Burford Duo, fantastic van.
The build quality is great and the layout if unbeatable, and I mean unbeatable, we love it.
But after buying it we worked out that it was designed for camp sites, not wild camping and we
a) wild camp
b) spend our time at race circuits with no facilities other than black waste disposal and water via a tap away from the pitch
c) tour long distance off sites
Therefore the van is not best equipped for OUR NEEDS
So I modified the van
And now it does exactly what WE need it to
