You left just at the right time. The weather is dreadful: very heavy rain all day, temperature down to 5 deg C at noon, a strong, bitter wind and snow on the mountains behind Castellon this morning.

The site are cutting the big pine trees down along the road between C and D areas. Some got done yesterday but nothing today as the weather is too bad. We have had to move pitch and don’ t know when we will go back.

Makes you glad to have a Broadway with plenty of space to lounge and plenty of light. If we were stuck on the dinette benches in some of these dark crammed continental vans then we’d have killed each other by now.

“ Go to the bar”.....It’s Apocalypse Now! out there and nothing on earth would get me out of the door for fear of me or the door being blown out to sea.

Quilter, Looks like we left at right time. It was freezing all the way through France, but thankfully we dodged the snow.

Hope the tree felling is going smoothly. The couple who moved to our pitch were on the C/D isle like you, but had a caravan and awning, so are not moving back. Enjoy the rest of your stay and hope the weather improves.
