Thanks. Did they fit on easerly, I have bought the genuine Mercedes ones, just concerned if it is not to difficult a job.
I am fairly useful on tools but just looking for any snags I might get.
Thanks

Easier that I expected and a much better fit than the Fiat ones I fitted on my last (swift) motorhome. About 30 to 40 mins 'cos I hadn't fitted them before. I used genuine parts. No more expensive from MB dealer than pattern ones on ebay.

Good luck

On the newer MB based vans that don't have the external step outside the cab doors just follow the instructions that come with the genuine MB mudflaps.

For vans with the steps, you need to form an intricate shape hole into the mudflap to fit around the step - not so easy.

Hi Pete. I have the newer, 2017 Sprinter. I was wondering if when fitted the mud guard that is on the van now fits back over the newly fitted mud flap if you know what I mean.
Do I remove this then fit it back afterwards.

Uh?
There was no mid guard on my van. Can you add a picture?

To got around the step problem on earlier vans I just bought truck flaps and cut them to shape. Very cheap to do although I have to say whilst they keep the step clean there is still a lot of spray gets up the doors!

As Peter says not quite so easy but OK if you take your time.

Hi Ken
It may come as part of the kit,but I thought I saw somewhere that there was a protective film that you put on the bodywork

I cheated and got a local body man to fit mine, he just used a bit of trim tape.
