Need to remove the lower radiator grill to treat some rust .
Taking the two bolts out was OK but the plastic grill is more stubborn.
It looks as if it maybe in two parts .
Any advice welcome . Cherrywhite .

Mercedes Sprinter forum might be more useful to you?  What is rusty?

Can't help with removal, but this forum will be able to help. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] They are mostly Americans but friendly none the less.

What is rusty, most things there are plastic or ABS. I suspect the grill is held by tabs which need to be sprung out.

The two bolts you mention, are these the ones in the step? That part has 4 lugs, 2 front, 2 rear, like this

The mesh part is separate. Like this, you can see some lugs.

Thanks for the replies . You are right , it is only paint bubbling up on GRP where the water sits .
I will paint up to the grill which is super difficult to remove .

Glad to hear that we don't have to worry about rust- but now we'll all have to go and check for bubbling paint on the GRP!!! smile!
