We've got it! Empty We've got it!

At last, we picked up our Broadway EB on Wednesday from SMC at Newark who kindly offered us a night at Smeaton's Lakes, a caravan park local to them. Seemed like the sensible thing to do as we wouldn't be far from them if we couldn't understand the 'Motorhomes For Dummies' instructions. Last night was one of the coldest nights but it was very cosy inside. Now to RTFM.

Regards

John

Hope you get as much pleasure as we've got from ours, happy travelling  up!

I also spent time RTFM and there's lots to learn from it, but also lots of stuff that's not there. I've probably learned as least as much from the good souls on this forum and the handover from the salesman at our dealership which was exemplary.

allthumbz Nice late Christmas pressy. SMC helped me out when I was working at the roadside. The other motor dealer in Newark were rather rude to the member I was called out to.
We bought our Rienza this time last year, not from SMC. Our first nights out were cold and frosty but the Rienza has proved to be a warm cosy van.
Happy touring folks. wave

Good choice.  I have recently acquired a Bourton (4 weeks ago) I've read the f manuals!  Please let me know if you find out where your vehicle battery is located.  I've found our leisure Battery under the passenger seat and according to the Mercedes manual it could be in one of two locations.  It's not in the engine compartment and I could not see any obvious signed under the drivers footwell.  Cheers Dave.

Not physically looked for it yet but when I asked where it was I was told it is in passenger footwell. Not sure where in your Merc'.

Think yours is under the floor of the cab. Search google for mercedes sprinter battry location and you should find several vid links.

Under pax footwell before the tool box and jack storage. On mine it's a girt big sealed battery so no maintenance required.
