Nuevo (Boxer) 2007 Wing mirror
I need a new driver's side wing mirror for my 2007 Nuevo which is on a Boxer base vehicle. I feel like piggy in the middle between Peugeot, Autosleeper and my (very helpful) local garage. I have discovered that there are three mirror arm lengths (short, med and long) but am not sure which is correct and the Peugeot dealer refuses to accept returns if I order the wrong size (!) I cannot be the only person who has pranged my wing mirror and am sure that someone out there can help me. What size do I need??

If you know your VIN number, go to the Peugeot Service Box site http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/ and register. It's free, doesn't cost anything to join.
Once you are logged on, type your VIN into the box and it will give you a list of options to look at - engine, gearbox etc. choose bodywork and rear view mirror. That should give you some diagrams of the mirrors fitted to your van, with part numbers.

In answer to Skyrakes - that's the problem. Autosleeper say ask Peugeot, Peugeot will not give definitive answer re the correct mirror unless they fit it......
Where will I find the VIN number?

Interesting.... It won't let me register without giving a lot of details so don't think I can blagg it!

In reality:
A) If your garage bloke goes to the Pug parts dept. and gives them the VIN No of your van and asks them to supply a mirror for it then the onus is on them to supply the correct part whether they fit it or not.
B) A new mirror from Pug will cost an arm and a leg. If it were me I would be scouring the local scrap yards, Parts Gateway and Ebay. Right size? invest in a tape measure and measure your other one. Ask the vendor if the one they are selling is the same size as yours.

Mirror replacement
I bought my driver mirror for my 2011 Nuevo II from Ebay, it fits 2006 onwards apparently. You have to check if you have the short, med or long version and if it is manual or electric adjust or has heated glass. Mine was med with electric adjust only, cost £140 and it is now fitted. Removing the door trim is scary, feels like it will break, see youtube vids. To get the wire replaced meant removing the speaker grille and using a coat hanger to re-train the wire through door holes. It seems such a common problem that these 'sticky out' things get broken that you would think the remedy could be easier.
Good luck
