Hi

I'm new to this forum so would like to introduce myself as I'm likely to have a few questions about my new purchase - and who knows I may be able to offer advice too eventually!

Well about a month ago I purchased this:

Introduction 12621166445_0bd687f7ea_o

It's a 1986 VW T25 Autosleeper and is going to need some "minor" bodywork repairs to bring it up to standard, but from a chassis, mechanical and interior point of view it is in fantastic condition.

My priorities are:

 - To be able to use it!
 - Keep the rust under control
 - Install a safer rear passenger carrying seat
 - Find a solution to my water filler issue - the pipe is rubbing against the wheel at the moment at the filler had rusted away!  See https://www.autosleeper-ownersforum.com/t9937-t25-autosleeper-water-filler
 - Find out why I'm getting a smell of petrol around the fuel tank

Obviously my latter 2 issues need sorting before first :-)

Are there many other T25 owners on this forum?

Thanks

Mark
