After a seven year break, we are back touring.  We started in the seventies with and old Eccles caravan, and in the eighties moved up to a SWB Transit with lifting roof.  Another Eccles caravan was followed in 1996 by an Autotrail Navajo.   This we reluctantly sold in 2007 when we concluded our health problems had ended our touring days.

However, in November 2013 we bought a Talisman GL on a Talbot Express chassis, convinced we are again fit for touring, even if that is limited to the UK.

The Talisman needs some work, but we are struck by both its versatility and innovative use of space and gadgets.   With the test trip to Glasgow under our belts, we know it is a work in progress.   But we are so happy to be back on the road again.
