hello
hello everyone, I'm pam from melton Mowbray and having just researched campervans for 4 days, I have decided to get a Volkswagen autosleeper trident type. (not bought yet)
I used to have a Toyota swb Hiace and I think about this sort of size is ideal for my personal circumstances, but do not want another as despite being a lovely van, keep having to lift the seat to get at the engine was awkward.
I found this forum because I guessed there would be one - auto sleepers seem to have a very good reputation. It is also nice to share experiences and problems with other folks.

hi there
thanks for replies folks - hope to find my way around - no doubt time and effort will solve the problem. 'Waves' - following my 'superdooper' research, these vans seem as rare as hens' teeth - at least in the midlands. Seems to me that once peeps have one, they hang on to it, so no surprise you recommend, but still, reassuring. Am going to look at one on Thursday, but is high mileage. 400m round trip!
would love to post pic on here of the one I do buy - but finding photobucket a nightmare.
Algy - no deal - suggest some nice healthy lettuce leaves.........................

Re: hello
Welcome from sunny Blackpool, I've had a T4 Trident for 3 years now and I would be lost without it, they are happy on motorways or narrow lanes.
and they're a pleasure to drive,
Have fun,Colin
