Just to introduce myself, my name "Irish_Rover" comes from the Land/Rover that I once owned that had Irish plates. I am not Irish nor have I ever been to Ireland. Confusing I know, but I hurriedly chose it to use on another forum, neither motorhome nor Land/Rover related, and it stuck!
I live in Wiltshire and started caravanning in 1972. I bought my first motorhome in 2000 and my Amethyst in 2005. Like many of you I enjoy maintaining and adapting my motorhome to suit my particular needs.
I only found this forum a few days ago and my delay in introducing myself is down to being unable to stop reading it since.
I trained as a carpenter, worked for 33 years in an art college, retired, and now devote most of my time to listening to music and taking photographs of beautiful people. The odd mail box, elephant or kitten may creep in from time to time but mostly I'm a people photographer.
