Devon in Poole Empty Devon in Poole

Post by Joe King Sun May 12, 2013 10:41 pm

Hi everyone, We have just had an exciting/nerve wracking afternoon buying our first motorhome. After 6 months research, visiting shows and hiring a Bolero and a van conversion we decided on a AS Devon. 3 years old with only 8000 miles on the clock and looks like new inside and out. We pick it up at the end of May so we are going to be on the road on Bank Holiday Monday. Is this a wise move?
We look forward to meeting up at rallies.
Regards Phil and Sue from Poole in Dorset

Hi there,

Welcome from what has been a warm and sunny day in Skegness; despite the forecast! beachball beachball

Last weekend was a Bank Holiday and there was a line of crawling traffic stretching nearly three miles out of town on the A158! If you go out on a Bank Holiday be sure to pack your patience pills! up!

Best regards,
drinksallround

Welcome
A good vehicle the Devon We have had our Sigma EL for 4 yrs now and love it as I'm sure you will love the Devon.
Teaching you to suck eggs as they say but check the spare wheel. We had 4 x CP on the vehicle but the spare was rated C and its illegal to fit to the same axle as a CP. Thankfully Marquis exchanged it for a CP.
