Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum, so this is my short intro...

My name is Yas, I am 28, originally from Belgium but been studying in the UK for 9 years, just got engaged in December, recently finished my PhD in Environmental Physiology at Loughborough University. Always have loved campers, bought a VW T25 a couple of years ago but it was a strange layout involving sleeping in the roof which we really didn't enjoy...I guess I am a bit clostrophobic! We didn't give up on the idea though as we recently bought a Fiat Ducato 1.9 TD, "Liberty" conversion. I have joined this forum because I suspect it might be an auto-sleeper model, although I have already asked and it looks like it might not be an Auto-Sleeper :-(

What else...currently working as a research assistant at Loughborough Uni, finishing my contract end of May, and my fiancee and I will then have a 4 weeks holiday before the beginning of my new job. We're hoping to do south of france, Italy, Croatia and maybe a bit of Germany...All of that in our lovely "Liberty".

Thanks for reading!

Hi Yas.

You made it to here then. Welcome to the forum from Nottinghamshire. Glad you like your new to you van. Quite a few of the members will have vans that are of the same base vehicle and some of the habitation fittings may be similar so you should be able to get some good advice.

Cheers for now. Whisky. champagne

PS. Didn't fancy a date. lol4
