Buying a Gloucester Empty Buying a Gloucester

Post by Kathy Mon Apr 08, 2013 5:32 pm

Hi I'm Kathy and I hope to be a owner of a Auto Sleeper Gloucester soon and would like to thank members for their advice on my decision on choosing a A.S. I just needed convincing that I was choosing the right manufacturer. My husband and I were at the NEC in Birmingham looking for the right one. It was extremely tiring looking at all the vans and trying to select the one for us. We liked the Hymer b544 but the kitchen area let it down it just wasn't practical. You would have been hard pushed to find space to wash a plate. Other ones didn't have the quality finish I thought the AS had. It has been a hard fight to find a new one. Our nearest dealer told me we would have to wait until October. After phoning about I think I've found the last one thats available so hopefully all going well I'll secure it tomorrow.

Think we have all come across long waiting times which can be very frustrating, but time soon passes

Buying a Gloucester Empty Bought It

Post by Kathy Wed Apr 10, 2013 10:11 pm

Hi, Thanks to all the replies and welcomes much appreciated. I went and bought the gloucester whether I got a good deal or not I'm not sure. I ended paying more than his first quote as his boss said he couldn't go that low and that I would need a tracker fitted for insurance purposes which put up the price again (no bargains for me). I don't liking haggling much which I know I should have done and I really liked this model so folks it looks like best_friends I'm in the auto-sleeper club. Hope I meet up with some of you on our travels and discussing all ranges of topics relating to auto-sleepers.

Enjoy.
