Cupboard and drawer catches sticking open
Has anyone come across this one? We have not used our Broadway for 3 months and left all cupboard doors open to avoid damp etc. On using it today we are having trouble getting the cupboard and drawer catches to 'latch' with the result that cupboards and drawers have been opening on their own whilst we have been driving along!

Re: Cupboard and drawer catches sticking open
This is a common over winter problem and happens to nearly all makes of motorhome. They should stop sticking as the van dries out totally again in the better weather also a silicon spray is very good on the catches and what the service guys use in a habitation service.
Button type handles the buttons often stick in over winter

Re: Cupboard and drawer catches sticking open
We had this last year when I left all our cupboard doors open, couldn't understand what the heck was wrong as never had that problem, convinced we had problems with the catches we purchased a complete set of catches from Auto-Sleeper fearing they had just about had it.... As Robbie says a few days later they shut fine and we now keep them shut and have had no further problems since, we still have the set of catches as spares should they need replacing.... luckily they were not too expensive
