Hi everyone,
I have just joined the Auto Sleeper Forum. I am picking up my Auto-Sleeper Clubman on 29th October and hope to go camping within a few days.
My wife and I have been touring much of Europe over the past three years in a Mazda Bongo, but decided after a wet night in Ghent a few weeks ago, that we needed a few more comforts in our motorhome to extend the camping season beyond the end of September.
We have been using the ACSI discount card and Stellplatz sites in Germany. We are looking forward to visiting French Aires and France Passion sites in our Auto-Sleeper as well as more Stellplatz sites in Germany.Last year we drove to Austria, Hungary,Romania and Bulgaria, this year was Slovenia and Austria. In our first year we visited France, Spain and Portugal. We usually tour for about 4 weeks at a time in Europe. We also go on shorter camping trips in England and Wales. With our Auto-Sleeper we are intending to visit Scotland as well.
I am used to the Bongo Forum site where there is a lot of lively discussion on technical issues and good places to stay.
We still have our Bongo, as it has become part of our family, but I probably will have to part with it.
