My wife has finally retired so we are free to roam,at last. We are at the moment trying to work out which of the Auto-Sleepers that we want.
We need a model that has a shower and loo. it would also be good if it was reasonably good on fuel consumption. We keep coming back to the Symbol, or the Dueo, (would be nice to see a comparison chart between the two) but would like advice on any other models that fit the bill. We have never owned a motorhome before, but are sailors, so are used to cramped accommodation. Any advice would be appreciated.

Regards

David and caroline

Hi Stuart
I am was born in Keighley (normally when I say that folk say "never mind) smile!

Nothing much has changed here Bob, still the same as it was when Boadicea lived in the town. biggrin

Dutto
Having looked at the comparison between the Symbol and the Dueo, I must admit that we Like the layout of the Dueo better (just a personal thing). Not bad MPG either. What engine do you have? also is the diesel more economical than the petrol. bearing in mind that diesel is more expensive than petrol these days.

Thank you for all your kind welcome's

Hi Caroline and David
Welcome to the forum from foggy Bridlington allthumbz
Boaby.

The Peugeot Symbol is a larger van, however in my view the Ford powered Duetto, the more reliable power unit. thanksverymuch

Thanks Burlington

I guess if we could afford it the layout would be similar to the Warwick Duo with the main sleeping area at the rear of the van, but I have not been able to find a van (apart from a new one) with that sort of layout for our budget of around £20000 to £25000.
