Hi Folks! Empty Hi Folks!

We have just bought an Auto-sleeper Stratford, and I am so excited!

We camped 40 years ago in a two man tent around Scotland and the Outer Hebrides and I dreamt of owning a warm, dry, luxurious vehicle.

One of our first trips will be back to the site where our tent was blown down the slope, with us in it.

But first we have a steep learning curve and I think your various usergroups will help with that.

Three weeks to go to delivery . . . . it's like having a baby all over again!

Well the baby has arrived and was christened at Clumber Park on 29 September 2012.

There have been some teething problems, but with the help of research done on your forum things have been resolved, although not without some sleepless nights.

The next outing will include levellers and a spirit level amongst other things!

You are the equivalent of Dr Spock's.

We have only been out the once so far. I am pleased as Punch with it.

However, there are some things we have to do . . . like waterproofing under the bonnet . . . which I am still struggling to understand what actually has to be done.
There seem to be places on this forum where people have spelt things out clearly with photos too. So I'll get there.

In the mean time, dare I say it? I'm reading the manuals! lol4
