Never mind the vet being able to trim his own claws I have to go to the foot lady to have mine trimmed. Due to my arthritis my back locks if I try. It’s embarrassing when I can’t get my socks on or tie my laces but the trainee foot lady insists on doing that for me.
Muttly only needs his back dew claws done and we will have the problem of getting him through the door but I don’t think he would let me trim them. sit

Dried up now and we have a cloudy day ahead with occasional showers. The wind direction is changing to a south westerly so we will be getting wet and slightly warmer weather over the next few days.

Nice bakanced two course lunch GH snigger SM is good but I gave up on Peroni for Aldi Steinhauser shrugg

Take it easy.

A brighter but damp day here. It felt chilly on our walk but the wind has eased off.
The visit to the vets was a bit of an anticlimax. Muttly got in the car without a fight and only needed a bit of encouragement to go through the door at the vets.
Considering everything is costing more each day they offered us one lot of his medication half price if we bought two lots. That will mean he is covered for four months. Compared to the struggle we have between our doctors and the pharmacy I think we should go to the vets. hugegrins

7 degrees but feels colder.  High winds and heavy rain but it's forecast to brighten up in the afternoon and possibly touch double figures.

Still pretty cold and damp here. Forecast says 2% chance of rain then tag line is rain likely this morning scratch head Confused, you will be. I suspect we may be going out for lunch which will probably involve passing close to a clothing emporium shrugg

A brighter start to the day here. It’s managements day for an appointment today with a visit to the dentist for follow up treatment for the tooth that’s being crowned. I thought it was going to be one appointment but it looks like it’s going to be three appointments. Yet another hole in our budget.

Sounds fun Ian!
Overcast an the odd spot of rain but nothing to speak of, out to start washing down garden walls with cleaner prior to starting pressure washing, not my favourite job but has to be done!

If you are building a shed Ian you will need shed rules as we have. The shed is for storage/ junk and managements potting table. The workshop is my space and nothing goes into or out of it without my permission.
I watched our naibor putting up his shed. The amount of tools it involved including a laser level was a bit over the top.

Nice here so far, still breezy but bone dry, gonna be 16c later.
Interesting point Dave. But this is MrsH and her only space. This works well in two ways...all her stuff is here, therefore not in my, much more important workshop space!!!
In a previous house the workshop shed had a lock on the inside!!!!

Rain on and off all day with a high of 7°c. Getting warmer tomorrow but with more rain. It's Thursday so it must be shopping day, woo hoo tap_fingers No shed needed here, we have a 4x6m wide cellar for storage. Unfortunately it's only about 5ft high so not suitable for working in shrugg

Another bright start to the day and feeling warmer. I have gone through different sheds over the years. The first one was had been a pigeon loft built by the guy we bough the house off. I cut that up with my jigsaw, I only had a junior hacksaw at the time. I was allowed a new shed because my workshop was in the spare bedroom. Getting my lathe upstairs was challenging.
When we moved into the current house the shed was so rotten it leaned on the garden wall when you opened the door. Two sheds later I now have a 6x8 shed and 8x10 workshop. Trying to share the 6x8 with our sons model making and my workshop stuff was a bit cramped.
If it’s going to be warmer it will be nice to have the workshop door open rather than having the heater on all day.

Damp and drizzle this morning but 12 degrees. Took the van for a run this morning, all fine. Brightening up a bit now so may get the pressure washer out for half an hour to make a start.

Whoever was responsible for turning the rain off today obviously forgot as it's been hissing down all day, pretty cold too. Latest warning of food in short supply applied to Bananas but shops had plenty. For the second week the supermarkets seem to be having problems with stocks of eggs, Aldi and Lidl were restricting customers to 3 boxes each. Academic as the both had none to sell.

Damp, dank, dismal and driech just about sums it up today.  Horrible grey, misty start to the morning and drizzly with not much hope of it changing much.

Trip to the dentist for a filling this morning then on to Argos to get a refund for a jump starter / air compressor which I got on Wednesday and won't charge.

Take care all.
