2012 Nuevo Lancashire for sale

Sadly, our time for motorhoming has come to an end due to health problems so our beloved and cherished 2012 Nuevo Lancashire EK must be sold. 
This vehicle is a total one-off which was made by Auto-Sleeper to special order in 2012.  It has a Euro 5 engine and was built on a 3500kg chassis which had been intended for a 4 berth model. Because so much of what we considered essential internally was omitted from the 2012 body style it has the 2011 body style.  That body has the massive advantages of 3 copious lockers above the cab and, below the nearside bed locker, the exterior accessed locker (which is well sealed and not wet) both of which were omitted in the 2012 facelift.  Surprisingly it contains all the advantages of the better 2012 model furniture at the back end with 3 drawers and a pull down flap under the sink and an extra cabinet in the washroom.  The upholstery has been covered from new and is completely unmarked.  The cooker has three gas burners plus one electric hotplate hob together with a separate grill and oven.  The rooflight above has been replaced by a MaxxFan. There is a separate microwave above the 3-way fridge the latter having a thermostatic fan installed to ensure adequate performance in hot climates.
The original somewhat inadequate rear view camera has been replaced by a twin camera unit giving excellent rear view when driving which automatically switches down for reversing and is supplemented by rear sensors giving an audible warning.
The gas locker holds one 13kg cylinder plus one 6kg cylinder.  No solar panels are installed.
Overall I believe the vehicle to be in excellent condition and completely free from damp.
It has a full service and MOT history and has covered 45,711 miles.  I am offering it at £29,950 and, having looked after it carefully, we would like it to go to a good home.  We are located in North Shropshire.

I was in SMC motorhomes some years ago. In the showroom we saw a Nuevo built like this with cupboards over the cab instead of the bed. Deciding we would like to buy it, we went out to find a salesman. Walking towards reception we saw one, accompanied by a man and lady. We said 'we want to buy that one'. 
The salesman said "too late, this couple have just bought it". 
"can we have another one then?"
"Well they do make them but only a few. There might be one on the market at another dealer"
We set off on a round-britain holiday stopping at all the Marquis dealers but didn't see another one anywhere.

I am quite sure that mine is unique.  It certainly was not the one you saw as I have had it from new. I'd be keeping it but for health reasons.

I'm sorry to hear your news Ron, Chris and I so enjoyed spending time with Judy and yourself in Le Grand Bornand when we met by coincidence.

Thanks for your good wishes, Paul and Tim. It's been a great 52 years of caravanning and motorhoming, 10 years with a Hymer and latterly 12 years with the Lancashire. However, age and health caught up with me with macular degeneration in the left eye precluded driving in mainland Europe which we hugely preferred over having to book everything in the UK. But my recent open heart surgery from which I have recovered very quickly helped us make the decision to find other holiday types. I'm pleased to say that we really liked the couple who've bought the van and we hope they'll get as much fun from the van as we did - and from this forum which I will possibly look at sporadically.

I'll be there in 8 year's time.
