Hello! Empty Hello!

Hi,

I'm collecting a Symbol next month - will be a first time owner and really looking forward to getting out and about. I love hiking so will be basing myself in North Wales, the Lakes and the Peak District.

Never owned a van so will be extremely nervous about driving! Especially in the smaller lanes!

Look forward to talking with some of you over the coming months.

Hi Kirstie & Welcome,

I'm sure you will soon adapt to the van. The higher driving position, better overall visibility and big side mirrors all make my similar van somewhat easier to drive in lanes than my rather fat but low SUV. We drive a lot of country lanes without any difficulty. I just have to look out for the greater height and low overhanging tree branches. After all, your van is no bigger than an Amazon van! Just take your time.

Enjoy!

Welcome, KK. I’m sure you’ll soon get used to driving the Symbol. Check out the dimensions of some Landrover models to compare and I think you’ll be surprised.
